A-Ballet School Policy (School Rules)

1. About A-Ballet School
A-Ballet School provides ballet and dance education for children and adults of all levels in a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment. Our goal is to support artistic growth, discipline, confidence, and joy in movement.
Classes may be taught by Aliya Art Kft. and/or by independent instructors (sole traders) such as Aliya Tanykpayeva or Dmitry Timofeev (including under the Hungarian KATA system), depending on the class and teacher. A-Ballet School acts as the organisational and booking platform in all cases.
2. Enrollment & Registration

Minimum age: 4 years (unless a specific program states otherwise).

A trial class is recommended and may be required for level placement.

Registration must be completed before participation.

Class placement is determined by age, experience, and instructor assessment.

Advance booking is required. Waiting lists may apply if classes are full.
3. Tuition & Payment

Payment options may include: single classes, monthly subscriptions, packages.

Payment is due in advance unless otherwise agreed.

The invoicing party may be Aliya Art Kft. or the respective instructor; this is shown in the booking/receipt/invoice.

Non-payment may result in suspension from classes.

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Unused classes within a paid period are forfeited unless the specific package states otherwise.
4. Cancellations & No-Shows

Student cancellation: rescheduling/credit may be granted if cancelled at least 24 hours before class (unless your package has stricter rules).

Late cancellation or no-show: generally no refund or credit.

Instructor/School cancellation: the class will be rescheduled or credited.

Cancellation of a package/subscription: payments are non-refundable. However, any remaining sessions may still be used until the end of the package/subscription validity period.
5. Attendance & Punctuality

Arrive 10 minutes early.

Regular attendance is essential for progress.

Late arrival may limit participation for safety reasons.
6. Conduct & Discipline

Respect teachers, staff, and peers.

Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension or removal.

Mobile phones must be switched off in the studio.

Parents/guardians must respect staff instructions.
7. Parents & Guardians
-
Minors must be brought to and collected by a parent/guardian.

Studio access during classes is limited to designated times or with permission.

Parents are responsible for timely pickup after class.
8. Dress Code
-
Appropriate ballet attire and shoes.

Hair secured; no jewellery (except small studs).
-
Good personal hygiene is required.
9. Health & Safety
-
Dance involves physical activity and risk of injury. By enrolling, students/guardians confirm medical fitness to participate.

Warm-up is mandatory; injuries must be reported immediately.

Do not attend while sick or contagious.
-
During rehearsals or performances on professional stages, additional risks may exist beyond the School’s direct control; participants acknowledge this.
10. Property & Facilities

Respect facilities and equipment.
-
Damage caused intentionally or through negligence must be compensated.
-
The School is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
11. Performances & Events
-
Participation is optional but requires full commitment to rehearsals.
-
Costume and production costs may be additional.
-
Students who miss key rehearsals may be excluded.
12. Photography & Video
-
Photos/videos may be taken for educational and promotional purposes.
-
By participating, students and guardians consent.
-
For justified reasons (especially for minors), you may submit a written request; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.
13. Force Majeure
In events beyond our control (e.g., government restrictions, epidemics, natural disasters), classes may be rescheduled, moved online, or cancelled. Credits/refunds follow legal requirements and package terms.
14. Amendments
A-Ballet School may update these rules. Changes are published on the website.
