The Story

Welcome to A-Ballet — where dance becomes light, beauty, and meaning.

The letter “A” in our name comes from Aliya, one of the founders of the brand. Her name means “Heavenly,” and this meaning reflects the heart and spirit behind A-Ballet. A-Ballet is inspired by Christian faith and guided by the values of love, integrity, compassion, and hope.

We believe in Jesus Christ and in using the gift of art to encourage and inspire. Through ballet, we seek to tell stories that uplift the human spirit — stories where goodness prevails, where faith gives strength, and where light shines even in challenging moments. Alongside classical masterpieces, we create original productions inspired by Biblical themes and meaningful life journeys that speak to courage, forgiveness, and renewal.

We see ballet as a refined and expressive language of the soul. Music, movement, visual design, and emotion come together to create experiences that bring beauty, reflection, and joy to audiences of all backgrounds.

A-Ballet was founded by Dmitry Timofeev and Aliya Tanykpayeva, a husband-and-wife team united by their devotion to faith and the stage. Aliya’s journey — from the steppes of Kazakhstan to renowned theaters — reflects dedication and perseverance. Dmitry grew up immersed in theatre, discovering early how artistic expression can inspire and bring people together.

Together, the founders of the brand created A-Ballet with a sincere desire: to share beauty, to strengthen hearts, and to contribute something meaningful to the world through dance.
