Ballet for Kids ages 4-6 at A-Ballet School in Budapest is a joyful introduction to classical ballet for children with or without previous experience. WHAT YOUR CHILD GAINS Posture, coordination, flexibility, balance, musicality, focus, discipline, confidence, creativity and body awareness. IN CLASS Playful ballet basics, creative movement, stretching, floor exercises, coordination games, simple barre and centre work, music and imagination. FEEL COMFORTABLE At this age, children learn through movement and play. The teacher demonstrates clearly, helps each child individually and creates a warm, friendly atmosphere where children can learn at their own pace. LANGUAGE Classes are taught in English. Fluent English is not needed. Ballet is highly visual, so children can follow through demonstration, music and movement. When possible, the teacher can also give simple help in another language. PERFORMANCES Regular students may have opportunities to take part in A-Ballet School performances when the role suits their age and preparation and participation is approved by the teachers and choreographers. Children participating in school performances are required to pay the Annual School Performance & Costume Fee, paid once per school year. The applicable fee is communicated separately. Students who first join A-Ballet School from 1 February pay 50% of the annual fee. FIRST CLASS Comfortable clothes that allow easy movement are enough for the first lesson.
