2. Scope of the Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the A-Ballet website, the purchase of tickets and products, participation in A-Ballet School activities, and all related services offered by Aliya Art Kft.
By visiting our website, booking a class, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy and Cookie Policies.

 

3. Applicable Legislation

These Terms are governed by:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
     

  • Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information
     

  • Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013)
     

  • Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) on consumer contracts
     

  • EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights
     

  • Relevant Hungarian consumer protection and e-commerce laws
     

 

4. Tickets and Events

4.1 Purchase: Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or through authorised partners. Please check all details before confirming payment.
4.2 Prices: Ticket prices include VAT. Additional service or transaction fees may apply and are clearly displayed.
4.3 Refund Policy:

  • Tickets are non-refundable except in case of event cancellation or rescheduling.
     

  • If an event is cancelled, we refund only the ticket’s face value. Service and transaction fees are non-refundable.
     

  • This complies with Hungarian Gov. Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(l).
    4.4 Force Majeure: We are not liable for changes or cancellations caused by pandemics, natural disasters, war, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
     

 

5. School Bookings

Lesson and class bookings are governed by the A-Ballet School Rules, which form an integral part of these Terms.
By enrolling or purchasing a subscription, you agree to those rules, including payment, cancellation, and attendance policies.

 

6. Online Store / Webshop

6.1 Products:
Product descriptions, prices (including VAT), and availability may change. Illustrations may differ slightly from actual items.

6.2 Ordering & Payment:
Orders are accepted via our online store. Payment is processed through secure providers (Wix Payments / Stripe). Orders must be paid in full before shipping or pickup.

6.3 Delivery & Pickup:

  • We currently deliver only within Hungary.
     

  • Alternatively, you may collect your order at A-Ballet School.
     

  • Delivery times are indicated during checkout.
     

  • If delivery is impossible, you are entitled to a full refund.
     

6.4 Right of Withdrawal (14 days):

  • Consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason.
     

  • To exercise this right, notify us by email at worldaballet@gmail.com.
     

  • You must return the product in original, unused condition within 14 days after cancellation.
     

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless otherwise stated.
     

  • We refund all payments (including standard delivery fees) within 14 days after receiving the return or proof of return.
     

  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised or custom-made items.
     

6.5 Defective Goods:
If a product is defective, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund under the mandatory 2-year EU warranty.

6.6 Liability:
Our liability for product or delivery issues is limited to the purchase amount. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

 

7. Website Use

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website operation. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or third-party hosting failures.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, and media, is the property of A-Ballet. Reproduction or use without written consent is prohibited.

 

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law.
Disputes shall first be settled amicably; failing that, the competent Hungarian court has jurisdiction.
